This September wedding at The Saybrook Point Resort and Marina was the perfect ode to summer and the days of coastal living. Amanda and Travis have known they were meant for each other since they met in middle school. Having been through so many phases of life and growing up together made this day that much more meaningful.

Simplicity and elegance were main themes throughout the design of this wedding. Amanda chose an emphasis on green and white for her florals designed by Florals by Kait.

The invitations by Tulaoo were modern and elegant with a subtle reflection of their coastal wedding venue. Blue and green watercolor washes were thoughtfully incorporated throughout. Custom wedding calligraphy by Nob Hill Jane elevated the coastal wedding.

Having her closest girls by her side was one of the most important aspects for Amanda on this day. Amanda stayed at the resort’s lighthouse suite, a unique room set out on the docks with an unobstructed view of the Long Island Sound as well as the Connecticut River.

Amanda chose a modern, sleek gown from The White Dress by the Shore in Clinton.

A first look by the yachts

The portraits were done in front of the stunning deep pink hydrangeas and colorful guest houses the resort offers.

The couple shared their first kiss with the marina as a backdrop and beautiful white and green florals surrounding them.

Amanda and Travis wanted the rest of the night to be about being in the moment and throwing an amazing experience for their guests. The live painter Holly worked throughout the night to create a one of a kind piece for the couple and impressed all the viewers. Meanwhile, the guests enjoyed live music, fresh seafood, and signature cocktails.
